Rare and desirable car, a restored 1970 AMC AMX with a 390 cubic inch engine and automatic transmission. In 1970 only 4116 AMXs were produced, and only 901 came with the 390 and an AT.
Any AMX is rare and desirable, but the 1970 models are considering the pinnacle of development with their upgraded and redesigned front suspension, front grille and higher horsepower 390 engine, the most powerful engine from AMC up to that date with 325 bhp.
This example is fully loaded with the factory Go-Package, Ram Air, factory A/C, power steering, power brakes with discs up front, tilt column, tinted windshield, remote driver’s side mirror, AM radio, clock, twin grip rear end and more.
